Nuclear reactor : A type of devices that can initiate and control a self-sustaining series of nuclear reactions. The reactions can be fission and fusion reactions. 
Nuclear reactors are used for producing energy as heat, research tools and for producing radioactive isotopes.

About 10% of the world's electricity is produced from nuclear energy.
