6. Managing a Stage Boundary: This process facilitates the transition from one stage to another. It involves updating the project plan, assessing overall project performance, reviewing risks and issues, and obtaining approval to proceed with the next stage.

7. Closing a Project: This process ensures a controlled and orderly closure of the project. It involves formalizing project completion, reviewing the benefits achieved, capturing lessons learned, and preparing for project handover or closure.
