**To avoid pancreatic cancer do the following :** 


Stop smoking or avoid starting. Smoking is the most important avoidable risk factor for pancreatic cancer.

Maintain a healthy weight and choose a healthy diet. A diet full of colorful fruits and vegetables and whole grains may help reduce your risk of cancer.

Avoid alcohol use or limit it to moderate amounts. Heavy alcohol use has been tied to pancreatic cancer in some studies.

Limit exposure to certain chemicals in the workplace, such as pesticides, dyes, and metals. Wear protective equipment and follow safety guidelines.

Since the major factors related are also the same. 

If you want to cure it, then fix the mental illness or tensions which are causing the immune system to become ( cancerous / autoimmune / self destructive ) and also follow the preventions which are known to enhance the causes of the cancer.
