+ | Functional and Reliability Testing (FnR): Airbus initiated an international flight-test campaign for the A321XLR, known as FnR or “Route Proving.” This campaign aims to demonstrate the aircraft’s systems maturity well before it enters service. The goal is approximately 100 hours of flying time over 10 days, with no systems power-down. Real airline cabin and flight crews, along with Airbus test pilots and engineers, are gaining hands-on experience during these flights. The aircraft used for these missions is MSN 11080, one of the dedicated flight test prototypes equipped with a full cabin interior. | ||
